My adult blog What Is A Man? was snuffed out by Google several weeks ago. Two years of posts, over 250, vaporized with no warning or discussion. And even worse than that the over 700 images stored on Picasa?? Gone, baby, gone. No response, no appeal, the Borg is inscrutable and implacable.
But hey, the Borg owns Blogger, you use it for free, and you submit to the TOS of the Borg when you sign up. You just never believe it could happen to you. In hindsight, Blogger/Google/Borg clearly has always had an uneasy teetering on the edge tolerance of adult blogs.
Perhaps the handwriting was even more clearly on the wall, when the Borg implemented the Google+ profiles with zero tolerance for adult material in any way connected to the + profile, as reported by Violet Blue, and Camille Crimson’s post: Google+ Doesn’t Like Blowjobs. Even before that, in March 2011, the popular Blogger based blog High on Sex was wiped out by Google – 5 years and 1500 posts…and relaunched on Tumblr.
So after considerable tinkering and research and experimentation, I have relaunched.
My new website/blog is Ram The Sunlover, with an adult sex blog and galleries. On a WordPress installation. On an independent web host. That actively welcomes adult blogs and websites. With my own storage of images. Live and learn and relaunch.
Stop by and check it out – subscribe by email or to a feed. Not much there yet but it’ll be bigger, better, faster, more!
